Answer Up to 30 kids a day.
Q What is the child to staff ratio for supervision?
A Approximately 5:1
Q Do I need to bring a copy of my ticket on the day?
A No, we have a record of purchase. You will be required to sign your child in and the beginning of the day and out at the end.
Q Can I drop my child off before 9am or pick up after 3pm?
A Kids Nature Club cannot provide before or after care. Doors open at about 8.45/8.50am. Pick up is from 2.45 - 3.00pm.
Q What should I do if my child wakes sick on the day they are enrolled?
A If your child is sick or you have a family emergency let us know as soon as you can. We understand that life happens. Please give 24hrs notice and we will send you a gift voucher of equal value that you can use for any of our events over the following 12 months.
Q I have booked my child in to your school holiday program but would now like to change the day to attend. Is this possible?
A If spaces are available on the day you would like to attend then we can transfer the date of your booking, no problems.
Q Can parents stay during the school holiday program?
A Sorry no. This is a kids only program.
Q Can I claim the child care rebate?
A Sorry no. Our program involves spending most of the day outside and some of the time in trees, we don't qualify for the rebate.
Q What happens if it is forecast to rain?
A Kids Nature Club operates in nearly all weather! We will only cancel our program if the temperature is forecast to be 39C or higher, or in severe thunderstorms. In this case you will be notified and given a Kids Nature Club gift voucher that can be used for any event over the following 12 months. This is a nature club after all!
Q Do your staff have working with children checks?
A Yes, all our staff have working with children checks and full police clearances. There will always be staff on duty that have full and current first aid qualifications.
Q My child is allergic to nuts. Are there restrictions on what kids can bring to Kids Nature Club for morning tea and lunch?
A There are no restrictions on nuts or any other foods, however we do encourage you to pack a healthy morning tea and lunch for your child. To protect children with allergies we have a no sharing policy.
Q What does my child need to bring with them?
A A complete change of clothes (including underwear and socks!), morning tea, lunch and an extra snack.
